Our commitment
Gardril exists so every worker can prove what they know and get back on the job — and that has to include workers with disabilities. We are committed to making our websites and training platform usable by everyone, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, captions, magnification, or other assistive technology.
Conformance target
WCAG 2.1 Level AA
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard referenced by regulators and courts in both the United States (Americans with Disabilities Act) and Canada (Accessible Canada Act and provincial accessibility legislation).
✓ In our design system Our colour palette is contrast-tested against WCAG AA ratios, and every colour that fails on a light background has a documented darker text variant that passes.
Current status
Our platform launched in 2026, and our accessibility work is ongoing. The websites are partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA: most content meets the standard, and we are actively remediating the parts that do not yet.
Known limitations
- Some images do not yet have text alternatives for screen reader users. We are adding descriptive alt text across both sites.
- Some course content is still being reviewed for full keyboard operability and caption coverage.

What we do
- Accessibility requirements are part of our design system, applied to every new page and course.
- We test with keyboard-only navigation and screen reader software during development.
- We review our sites against WCAG 2.1 AA on a recurring schedule and after significant changes.
- If the identity-verification step presents a barrier, contact us and we will work with you to complete verification another way.
Compatibility
Our sites are designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) and with common assistive technologies, including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver, on desktop and mobile.
